In this interactive 45-minute workshop, Latin American artists share their heritage through music and dance to explore this rich and diverse region of the world. The instructors engage students with geography and fun facts, and then demonstrate dances with music from a variety of Latin American countries. Students learn the origins, evolution, and the steps of some of the most popular dances from Latin America, such as Merengue, Bachata, Cha Cha, Samba, and Cumbia.
